Staff Selection Commission released a Notification of SSC JE Exam 2014 for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineers in Central Public Works Department (CPWD) & Department of Posts, Border Roads Organisation (BRO) in Ministry of Defence, Military Engineering Service (MES), Central Water Commission (CWC) and Farakka Barrage.

(i) 18-27 years for Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD and Department of Posts
(ii) Not exceeding 30 years for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in MES
(iii) Up to 32 years for Junior Engineers (Civil & Mechanical) in CWC and Farakka Barrage.
(iv) 18-27 Years for Junior Engineers(Quantity Surveying and Contract) in MES
(v) Not exceeding 30 years for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in Border Roads Organisation (BRO) of Ministry of Defence.
Age relaxation is given as per govt. rules.
Application fee: Rs. 100/- in the form of challan or net banking of SBI.
No fee for women, SC/ST, PH and Ex-serviceman.
Exam pattern:
Written Exam [Paper-I (Objective): 200 Marks, Paper-II (Subjective) - 300 Marks] - Total 500 Marks
Interview-100 Marks

i have problem in filling the application form..i have completed part I registration but wen i entered my reg id and DOB for proceeding with part II registration it is showing as "SORRY!

Deletethere are two links to apply for ssc je..if you have registered yourself in Link 1 for part 1 registration , you cant use link 2 for part 2 registration..it will show error.
Complete the registration process in one of the given link..
i done part 1 registration , am doing payment via debit card but showing this error.. Plz help me..TRANSACTION NOT CAPTURED in FSS Site.

DeleteI tried in new registration.. still payment gateway is not working.. TRANSACTION NOT CAPTURED in FSS Site.
Deletetry some more attempts...It is a server error. many candidates faced this problem. But finally submitted the fee.
Deleteif it is still not working try net banking. If you have no net banking go for the challan option..bcoz you have only two days remaining for registration. Do not waste the time.
